Persevera Asset Management ("Persevera") is an investment management firm headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil, founded in 2018 as a true partnership. Its portfolio management team consists of senior investment management professionals with decades of experience that have all worked together before, many coming from HSBC Global Asset Management, Bradesco Asset Management, Western Asset and Sulamerica. The firm specializes in a diversified multimarket strategy. Its investment process consists of seven independent books with predefined and fixed risk budgets. Each portfolio manager is responsible for a certain book and seeks alpha following its respective metrics. Persevera holds daily, weekly and monthly investment meetings where portfolio managers present and discuss investment thesis. In 2019, Persevera was selected by BNP Paribas Capital Partners' Hedge Fund incubation fund and received a EUR 20 million seed investment, their first seed investment in the Brazilian hedge fund industry.
