Palmerston Capital Management LLP is a London based credit alternative investment manager. The Firm manages comingled funds and single client managed accounts within the high-yield, financials and convertible bond markets for institutional investors. The eighteen-person team is led by Stuart Wain, the founder and CIO of Palmerston. Stuart was previously Head of European Credit Trading at JP Morgan where he had a 16-year career (1997-2013). The investment group comprises a team of nine highly experienced individuals who have held positions at hedge funds, long only asset managers and investment banks. They focus on convexity through a mix of deep dive fundamental research and instrument selection. Palmerston’s business management team targets excellence throughout its operational platform, finance, marketing and risk management practices, to afford all stakeholders strong processes and controls. The firm is fully independent and wholly owned by its partners.
