Private Advisors was an employee-owned investment firm based in Virginia. It was established by Lou Moelchert, who managed the University of Richmond endowment for 30 years. Private Advisors, an affiliate of New York Like Investment Management Holdings, LLC, is an investment-driven organization with dedicated private equity and hedge fund investment teams. The firm provided its clients with services in private equity investing, particularly investments targeting the Small Company Market, which are funds typically below USD 500 million and companies with less than USD 150 million in enterprise value. The firm made primary fund commitments and direct co-investments, as well as secondary investments. Private Advisors also provided its clients with services in fundamental credit, equity, and diversified hedge fund strategies. The firm's private credit investments focused on flexible capital solutions targeting transactions less than USD 100 million. In October 2012, Cuyahoga Capital Partners was acquired by Private Advisors. With the acquisition, Private Advisors launched its dedicated secondary investment capability. It took over as a general partner for Cuyahoga Capital's limited partnerships and assumed management of its advisory relationships. In June of 2020, Private Advisors rebranded as PA Capital. As of April 2022, PA Capital has merged with Goldpoint Partners and Madison Capital to form a new entity Apogem Capital.Read more ⏷
