Founded in Q4 of 2012, Overbrook Management Corporation (Overbrook) is a hedge fund manager based in New York that provides wealth management services to private investment vehicles and separately managed accounts (SMAs). The firm was founded by the late Frank Altschul, who was the managing partner of Lazard Frères and founder of General American Investors. Its primary aim was to manage the wealth of the Altschul family. In 2002, Overbrook expanded its services to outside investors and became a family office too. It is currently owned by Arthur G. Altschul, Jr. and Andrew J. Goffe. The management fees for SMAs depend on the services provided and range from 0.25% to 2% of assets under management, based on the market value of the assets held in the account.
