Nomura Capital Partners (NCAP) is a private equity arm of Nomura Group, a Japan-headquartered financial services group. The firm manage the group's principal investment business, using its own capital to provide equity solution for business reorganization, revitalization, business succession as well as management buyouts. NCAP is considered a successor to Nomura Principal Finance, the group's previous principal investment business unit closed in 2008 after massive losses from the purchase of Lehman Brothers.
