National Grid Renewables, formerly known as Geronimo Energy, is a US-based infrastructure firm. The firm develops, owns, and operates renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and energy storage projects across North America. The firm is also committed to sustainable investing. In March 2019, Geronimo Energy was acquired by National Grid. As part of the deal, the National Grid also acquired a 51% stake in 378MW solar and wind assets held by Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure Partners in the form of a joint venture with the Washington State Investment Board (WSIB).
