Established in Q1 of 2015, Mill Hill Capital (MHC) is a New York-based hedge fund manager that focuses on market-neutral relative value investments in US Credit and navigates in both corporate and securitized markets. It is a registered investment adviser to a private investment fund and received seed capital from Protégé Partners for the fund which launched on November 14, 2016. Mill Hill Credit Opportunities Fund seeks to construct asymmetrical return profiles through investments across securitized and corporate bond markets. It concentrates primarily on the following asset classes: CLOs, corporate financials, corporate transportation, asset-backed securities, non-agency mortgage-backed securities, and credit indices. The firm is led by David Meneret, formerly head of securitized debt and corporate financials trading at Macquarie and senior portfolio manager for the Macquarie Credit Nexus Fund. The firm's team is composed of six professionals and an analytics developer, five of which previously worked together at Macquarie. MHC's strategy relies on the combination of asset-level fundamental analysis, market-implied data-driven proprietary cash flow models identifying long/short opportunities across asset classes, as well as a systematic approach to risk and portfolio management.
