It also provides discretionary portfolio management services and advises professional clients in all investment matters. The bank's real estate arm, established in 1976, specializes in the acquisition, development, rehabilitation, and redevelopment of real estate assets and the management of private real estate funds. The real estate arm of the firm specializes in the acquisition, development, repositioning, and management of real estate assets, as well as the management of real estate funds. The firm focuses on opportunities in office, retail, industrial, and residential properties across the US. The firm is also currently focused on separate account mandates, with $5.5 billion in assets under management. Metzler is a real estate captive arm- the bank of Bankhaus Metzler.
