Mesirow Financial is a Chicago-based financial services firm. The firm's private equity arm Mesirow Financial Private Equity provides a an investment program that seeks to make both direct investments and fund commitments to both primaries and secondaries while its co-investment program sources investment opportunities by leveraging strategic relationships with a select group of private equity managers. Mesirow Advanced Strategies was the multi-manager hedge fund division of Mesirow Financial. All of its assets were acquired substantially by Lighthouse Investment Partners in July 2018. In July 2015, it was announced that Mesirow Financial would no longer commit capital to third-party real estate funds.
