Macrosynergy Partners (Macrosynergy) was established in August 2009. In January 2010 the firm launched the Macrosynergy Trading Fund (MTF), a variable bias macro discretionary fund focused on emerging markets. MTF invested in local foreign exchange and interest rate markets, stressed and distressed sovereign credit and equity. In April 2020 the firm was acquired by Ayres Investment Management LLP. who now manage the Argentina Fund.
