The firm has executed over $2.5 billion of real estate transactions across 116 projects encompassing more than 13,600 units. Currently, the firm owns 24 multifamily communities that include 5,936 units and has sold a total of 64 properties (7,863 units) with a 30% average Net IRR realized since inception. The firm is involved in property management, construction management, leasing, and asset management all under one umbrella. Currently, Lion Real Estate Group is raising a third fund with a target of $300m ($500m hard cap) to acquire distressed multi-family assets in the Sunbelt and their preferred borrower is Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with over 80% of the portfolio using fixed-rate interest-only debt.
