Established in 2006, Kapstream Capital is a New South Wales-based hedge fund manager founded by Kumar Palghat and Nick Maroutsos, both seasoned fixed income portfolio managers. The firm manages its flagship fund, Kapstream Absolute Return Income Fund, and also provides bespoke mandates to sophisticated investors. It employs a fixed income strategy that focuses globally. Janus Capital Management acquired a majority stake in Kapstream Capital in July 2015.
