JHL Capital Group (JHL) is an Illinois-based hedge fund manager founded in August 2006 by James H. Litinsky. JHL has an opportunistic, value-driven investment approach. Its investment objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation through the identification of investments that have risk-return characteristics and a portfolio management approach with a strong focus on capital preservation.  The firm manages JHL Capital Group Master Fund, which has both onshore (JHL Capital Group Fund LLC) and offshore (JHL Capital Group Fund Ltd) feeder funds.
