IPV Capital

IPV Capital, formerly known as InfoTech Pacific Ventures, is a China-based private equity firm. It adopts a wide range of strategies, from early stage through growth capital to buyout. It typically makes investments in Chinese companies, but also invests in non-Chinese firms that are able to tap the Chinese market on an opportunistic basis. IPV Capital provides capital to firms in the clean technology, software, semiconductors, material sciences, medical technology and other technology sectors. Prior to establishing early stage funds that raise capital from third-party investors, IPV Capital’s investments were funded by its own balance sheet. The capital was provided by the Chinese government and Chinese companies, including Hi-Sense and China Potevio.
