ICON Infrastructure was initially formed within the Global Markets division of Deutsche Bank to invest in infrastructure assets on behalf of Deutsche Bank and its institutional partners. The firm became an independent investment group. ICON Infrastructure primarily focuses on making long-term equity investments in private, mid-market infrastructure assets in Europe and North America. Its portfolio consists of businesses in various infrastructure sectors including transport, utilities, telecoms, energy & environment, and social infrastructure. ICON Infrastructure Partners III entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all of the common shares of Capstone Infrastructure Corporation.
