ICG-Newground, previously known as Newground Capital Partners, is an Australia-based real estate firm that targets the provision of real estate debts and the management of private real estate funds. The firm specializes in the provisions of real estate debt including mezzanine, senior debt and preferred equity across Australia. In June 2021, Newground Capital Partners is acquired by UK-based Asset Manager, Intermediate Capital Group (ICG). Post-acquisition, Newground Capital operates as ICG-Newground and will leverage the strength of ICG's balance sheet and its institutional LP base to underwrite loans, to owners of value-add, stabilized and construction assets.
