Huaxia Yinkong Investment Fund

Established in October 2009, Huaxia Yinkong Investment Fund is the general partner of Coastal Industrial Agglomeration Fund series, a private equity fund manager based in Shanghai. The first fund of the series, Coastal Industrial Agglomeration Fund 1, is a semi-open ended fund. The firm mainly targets investments in Yangtze River Delta, Bohai Rim and Pearl River Delta. The firm will not exit the investee companies via listing. Instead, its main investment strategy is to obtain returns by adding value to the entire target industry in the region before selling various parts of its portfolio to other private equity funds via block trades. This is done through industrial agglomeration via acquiring other assets, including land, for its target industries to set up a professional trading mechanism for their products and services, thereby enhancing the professionalism and capabilities of the entire industry. The firm’s investment committee is jointly managed by investment banks, commercial banks, asset management companies and accounting firms, including China Huarong Asset management, China Orient Asset Management, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and Bank of Nanjing.
