Morrison is an alternative asset manager with a focus on early stage infrastructure firm investments in both private and listed markets. Morrison combines sector knowledge, asset management capability, and operational expertise to deliver risk-adjusted returns for its clients. Morrison is committed to sustainable, responsible investing, seeking assets that provide an essential service to their communities. Morrison manages multiple mandates on behalf of sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, endowments, and other public and private pools of capital. Morrison has seven offices globally, located in Sydney, Melbourne, Wellington, Auckland, Singapore, London, and New York, as well as a presence in Zurich. Morrison’s longest-standing client is the NZX/ASX listed infrastructure investment vehicle, Infratil. After raising NZ$50 million in Infratil’s initial public offering in 1994, Morrison’s initial strategy focuses on investing in the energy, ports, and transport sectors as they opened up to private capital. Morrison has established a presence in Australian and New Zealand Public Private Partnership (PPP) investment, with four dedicated PPP funds and a team of specialist resources focused on social infrastructure opportunities across the region. In June 2018, Morrison was awarded the management rights to Utilities Trust of Australia, a global open-ended core infrastructure fund with a portfolio (at the time) of ten assets, principally in the transport, energy, and water sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom. In August 2020, Morrison held the final close of the Morrison Growth Infrastructure Fund (MGIF), a closed-ended core-plus infrastructure fund. In October 2021, Morrison established the Morrison Infrastructure Partners (MIP), an open-ended diversified global infrastructure fund. In December 2023, Morrison launched its High Conviction Fund (HCF) a global, long-only strategy focused on listed infrastructure securities.
