Founded in July 2016, Friess Associates (Friess) is a Delaware-based hedge fund manager that focuses on U.S. growth equity strategies. It offers strategies across the market capitalization spectrum ranging from small to large. Accordingly, clients may choose a focused market capitalization strategy within that range or an all-capitalization strategy. The firm principally invests in equity securities of U.S.-based companies and to a lesser extent in equity securities of foreign companies listed on U.S. exchanges, directly or through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). Friess employs a research-driven investment process and primarily utilizes fundamental analysis for the selection of equity investments.
