Florescence Capital is a Shanghai-based private equity firm that focuses on growth opportunities in China and other Asian countries. Founded in 1999, the firm has since expanded its operations to New York and Florida. Other than raising growth and bridge financing funds, the firm also manages hedge funds. Florescence Capital seeks minority stakes in growth stage companies that are ready to be listed within three years of investment. It targets opportunities in clean technology, retail, consumer, healthcare, education, agriculture, tourism and industrial manufacturing. The firm is also open to investing in other sectors on a case-by-case basis. Florescence Capital works closely with the management of investee companies in order to grow its investments in an organic manner. The firm may also explore the option of acquisition. Florescence Capital seeks to exit its investments through initial public offerings.
