EWA Capital is the first Colombian private equity firm run by women. The firm seeks to finance projects of companies focused on digital developments, with a gender impact. Ewa Capital acknowledges the importance of women as end customers and their power and influence over consumer spending. The firm aims to generate value across its portfolio companies by building strong partnerships with experienced, ambitious entrepreneurs with a clear fundraising journey, and a proven ability to execute and attract talent. EWA Capital was previously known as Mountain Nazca Columbia and was headquartered in Bogota, Colombia. In 2019, Patricia Saenz, along with Pedro Vallejo, span out of the firm and changed its name to Ewa Capital. Mountain Nazca remains an investor of the firm.
