Evaluation Capital Management is an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based hedge fund manager that was established in 2006 by Charles Estourgie and Willem de Vlugt. The firm focuses on two methods of investing in equities to generate returns. The first one involves using a combination of long and short positions in shares after doing a thorough fundamental analysis in determining their value. The second method, on the other hand, aims for an average return in the long-term by investing in micro-cap companies that offer long-term attractive growth potential. In both methods, the focus will be on companies from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
