DNB Private Equity is the fund management division of DNB Group. It manages the private equity portfolio of DNB Life Insurance (formerly Vital Insurance), part of the DNB Group, DNB Bank, and third-party fund of funds vehicles. The firm's real estate arm invests in the core strategies in commercial, hotels, office, retail, and shopping centre properties across the Nordic region. DNB Group is Norway's largest financial services group. The group was formed in 2003, following the merger of the two financial services groups DnB and Gjensidige NOR, and now includes brands such as DNB Bank, Vital Forsikring, Nordlandsbanken, Cresco, Postbanken, DNB NORD, and Carlson.
