Crawford Lake Capital Management ("Crawford Lake Capital") is a New Jersey-based hedge fund manager. Crawford Lake Capital manages a trading-oriented long/short equity strategy that invests in equities and options. The strategy utilizes a hybrid approach to investing, combining both fundamental and technical analysis. The firm believes the combination of these approaches is intended to produce superior risk-adjusted returns, maintain a low volatility profile, and position the strategy to perform well regardless of market conditions. Isaac Markowitz began managing the firm as the sole partner and portfolio manager. Jack Herzka joined as a partner and co-portfolio manager in 2008. Jeff Schachter joined as president and COO in 2015.
