CapMan is a Nordic fund management firm focused on the Nordic countries. The firm employs the following investment strategies: CapMan Buyout, CapMan Growth Equity, CapMan Infra, Capman Credit (formerly Nest Capital), CapMan Real Estate, and CapMan Natural Capital (formerly Dasos Capital). Each of the firm's strategies has its own dedicated investment team and funds. CapMan Buyout invests in Finnish, Swedish, and Norwegian companies that are, or have the ability to become, mid-sized businesses with leading market potential. CapMan Growth Equity targets unlisted Nordic companies with the potential to achieve rapid growth. The strategy involves making significant minority investments with a view to developing their value as active investors. CapMan Infra invests in energy, transportation, and telecommunications infrastructure across the Nordics. They act as an active owner to drive operational improvements. CapMan Credit makes private debt investments in the lower end of the Nordic mid-market, supporting LBOs, add-on acquisitions, expansion projects, and the refinancing of SMEs. CapMan Real Estate acquires, improves, and develops flexible and sustainable real estate in major Nordic cities, with a focus on environmental stewardship and with an aim to have a positive impact on communities. The firm employs both value-add and income-focused investment strategies across diversified property sectors. CapMan Natural Capital began in December 2023, when CapMan announced the acquisition of Dasos Capital, a Finnish natural resources firm that focuses on sustainable timberland investments, natural sites and forest carbon sinks in Europe. The acquisition was completed in March 2024.
