CapitaLand Investment (CLI) is a real estate firm headquartered and listed in Singapore. Comprising integrated developments, shopping centres, serviced residences, offices, homes, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and unlisted funds across the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the US. With a presence in more than 150 cities in about 30 countries, the firm focuses on Singapore and China as core markets, while it continues to expand in markets such as Vietnam and Indonesia. Coupled with extensive design, development, and operational capabilities, CLI develops and manages high-quality real estate products and services. The firm also has six REITs listed in Singapore and Malaysia, namely, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust, Ascott Residence Trust, CapitaLand China Trust, Ascendas India Trust, and CapitaLand Malaysia Mall Trust. On 10 August 2021, CapitaLand received shareholders’ approval for its proposed strategic restructuring and the listing of CLI. Post-transaction, CapitaLand’s investment management platforms consolidated to form CLI, with its real estate development business, CLA Real Estate Holdings placed under private ownership.
