Headquartered in Madrid, BEKA Finance (formerly Gala Capital) is a fund management firm, that makes private equity, private debt, natural resources, and hedge fund investments and that takes direct stakes in growth companies. Beka Asset Management, the firm's main asset management arm, operates in private equity, venture capital, private debt, and natural resources. The private equity strategies include strategic funds, and deal-by-deal investments in which the firm provides portfolio companies with strategic, operational, and management advice, in return for significant representation at the board level. The venture capital strategy was acquired in 2015, when the firm reached an agreement to acquire AC Desarrollo, the venture capital arm of Grupo Ahorro Corporación. The private debt strategies include income-generating direct lending and credit facility funds. The natural resources strategy makes investments in agriculture and farmland across Spain and Portugal. Beka Real Estate, the firm's real estate arm, makes investments in logistics, residential property rental, retail, hotels, and residential property across Spain and Portugal. The firm invests through real estate funds and through a Club Deals strategy. BEKA Credit, the firm's private debt arm, primarily grants senior loans to Spanish and Portuguese companies.
