Established in September 2015 by Wayne Yu, BCK Capital Management (BCK) is a Connecticut-based hedge fund manager. Mr. Yu managed a similar strategy at Citadel Investment Group from 2002 to 2008 and Société Générale from 2009 to 2015. The firm draws heavily from Mr. Yu’s past legal experience, including six years as a mergers and acquisitions attorney with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen, and Katz. It also draws from an experienced team with cross-functional backgrounds in advisory work, special situations, and fundamental investing. BCK launched its first fund in December 2015, with a $50 million strategic investment from a public pension plan.
