Arcmont Asset Management

Arcmont Asset Management is a European Private Debt manager with a track record of being an early participant in the direct lending asset class in Europe. Arcmont was established as the Private Debt division of BlueBay Asset Management. In 2019, Arcmont was spun out to become an independently owned and managed business, supported by a minority investment from Dyal Capital Partners. In March 2023, a majority interest in Arcmont was acquired by Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA. Following the completion of the transaction, Arcmont now operates as an affiliate of Nuveen in the newly formed “Nuveen Private Capital”. The new ownership structure has no effect on the underlying funds managed or advised by Arcmont. The acquisition expands Nuveen’s private debt presence into Europe, complementing its existing North American private debt investment specialist, Churchill Asset Management (“Churchill”). Arcmont and Churchill will work together in partnership, giving both firms geographic scale and the ability to offer a broader range of products and financing options to corporate borrowers.Read more ⏷
