AB Alternative Fund is a Switzerland-based real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, renovation, and management of real estate assets. AB Alternative Fund also manages private real estate funds. Established in 2015, the firm focuses on opportunities in office and logistic properties across the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, and Italy. AB Alternative Fund is a real estate captive arm of The Arab Bank. AB Alternative Fund SICAV SIF is a public limited company (société anonyme) incorporated under the laws of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg as an investment company with variable capital – specialized investment fund (société d’investissement à capital variable – fonds d’investissement spécialisé). The European Real Estate Sub-Fund (“AB European Real Estate Fund”) is a compartment of AB Alternative Fund SICAV SIF and constitutes Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd.’s flagship real estate fund, aimed at providing qualified investors with diversified exposure to commercial real estate in continental Europe. The Fund further qualifies as an alternative investment fund (“AIF” or “Alternative Investment Fund”). The portfolio management of the European Real Estate Fund, a compartment of AB Alternative Fund SICAV SIF, has been delegated to the Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd, in order to ensure the benefit of a highly experienced real estate management team, a FINMA-regulated Swiss bank specializing in asset management and investment counseling.
