About

Based in York, UK, and founded in 2015, VetPartners Limited was formed by August Equity. The company provides veterinary care services to small, equine, and farm animals. Since its inception, VetPartner has made several acquisitions, acquiring Abbey Veterinary Centres, Clyde Vet Group Ltd, OriginAnimal, Ospedale degli Animali s.r.l., Ospedale Veterinario Peressotti Dott., The Hyperthyroid Cat Centre Ltd., Time Right Ltd., and Vet Hospital H24 Firenze Srl. In August 2018, a consortium led by BC Partners bid to acquire a controlling stake in VetPartners Limited from Ares Management and August Equity for approximately GBP 700 million. VetPartners works with the Regional Business Development Director (BDD) to provide clinical guidelines, assist in identifying training needs, advise on the selection of products from a legislative and clinical point of view, and represent the company in the veterinary community. The company also provides small animal veterinary nursing schools, research dairy, equine nursing schools, laboratories, and locum agencies.
