About

Founded in 2020 and based in Hyogo, Japan, vcook inc. runs a vegan recipe site, delivers regular vegan meals, and supports vegan marketing. The company goal is a society where anyone can become a vegan. The founder Hiragi Kudo talked to more than 300 people around Japan to form the nonprofit organization “Japan Vegan Community” in 2018. Feedback from the community led to the launching of the “vcook” vegan recipe website in 2019. This led to the establishment of vcook inc in order to develop other vegan services. Later in the same year they launched the cookbook “Sekai ichi kantan na vegan recipes” (World’s best simple vegan recipes). In 2020 they held an online vegan conference. In 2021 the company started offering subscription to a vegan home delivery service. Meals can be prepared in advance for up to 100 people. The company also supports vegan-related businesses by offering to carry out research, surveys, analysis and marketing to develop vegan products from the point of view of the end user.
