In June 2021, Vaporox, Inc. raised USD 4.9 million in venture funding from Bioventus LLC. The company develops Vaporous Hyperoxia Therapy (VHT-100), which is a treatment for diabetic foot ulcers. VHT™ is a wound healing technology that treats DFUs, VLUs, post-surgical wounds, and more. VHT uses ultrasonic waves to form tiny particles of water and an anti-microbial, which are then cyclically delivered to the treatment site together with oxygen-enriched air. These particles then infiltrate the skin or wound's cracks and eventually pass through cell walls.
