Founded in 2015 and based in Amster, Tellow BV is a software company that develops accounting tools for self-employed, freelancers, and small businesses. The company has more than 19,000 customers that currently using its services. Tellow BV started as an internal project of Rabo Frontier Ventures and later became spun out of the company in 2018. In 2020, Ageras A/S acquired Tellow BV. Tellow BV offers SaaS-based and artificial intelligence-based accounting tools and solutions to automatically process quotes, receipts, invoices, VAT returns, and overviews through linking Tellow's customer account to the clients' bank accounts. As of 25 June 2020 following the acquisition of Ageras A/S, the company will be able to continue its growth and further strengthen its market share by creating a combined ecosystem capable of delivering 360-degree accounting services to small and medium-sized enterprises in the Netherlands.
