About

Based in Taiwan, established in 2000, Taiwan Delivery Co., Ltd. is a company principally engaged in the provision of home delivery services. The Company mainly provides package home delivery services, including business-to-customer (B2C) and customer-to-customer (C2C) distribution services, as well as room temperature distribution, low-temperature distribution, collection and payment and on-time delivery services. The Company also provides warehousing logistics services. It operates in the domestic market. Taiwan Pelican Express is based on the stabilities and reliability of TECO Group and applies the home-delivery know-how and B2C and C2C home-delivery operation of Nippon Express in Japan, a leading company in the logistics industry. In addition, the company has formed a partnership with a number of well-known enterprises to have the first home-delivery (C2C, B2C, and C2B) established in Taiwan in 2000 that was the prelude of the home-delivery industry in Taiwan. Also, it was the first company to offer door-to-door home-delivery service in Taiwan and the first to engage in “TV shopping home-delivery” and the pioneer for TV shopping. In 2001, it launched “Kinmen” and “Penghu” outlying/offshore island home-delivery service. In 2002, it launched the “Home appliance logistics service”. In 2003, it started its “Contract customer low-temperature home-delivery” and its “Specialties and seasonal fresh fruit direct delivery from the place of origin/production” service. In 2004, it launched the “Convenience store low-temperature home-delivery” collection service and worked with ITRI to develop the whole stratosphere preservation logistics system. In 2005, it made a partnership with FamilyMart to launch the “Pelican Express Bag” service merchandise. In 2006, it launched the convenience store “Low-temperature Home-delivery” collection service and worked with FamilyMart to launch the “3C service parts” home-delivery service and with Hi-Life Convenience Stores to launch “Value-added Services”. In 2007, it introduced the first “Collection on Delivery Credit Card Payment” safe and convenient cash flow service in Taiwan. In 2008, made a partnership with the “PC home shopping center” to launch the “Online shopping home-delivery” service and with “SimpleMart” to launch home-delivery collection service. In 2009, made a partnership with Hi-Life Convenience Store to launch the “One-day Home-Delivery” service. In 2010, it launched the “On-time delivery and Late-delivery free” service to enhance customer satisfaction. In 2011, it established a station in Taoyuan International Airport exclusively to launch the “Airport Baggage Home-Delivery” service. In 2012, it launched the “Online Reservation for Pickup” home-delivery service. In the same year, it worked with FamilyMart to launch the “Toucan Box” packaging materials home-delivery service and with Hi-Life Convenience Store to launch the “Happy Home-Delivery Bag” packaging materials home-delivery service. In 2013, it became the first publicly listed company in the courier service industry. In 2015, the company launched its first app, the “Toucan Easy-to-Shop APP platform”.
