Returning investors Oxford Sciences Enterprises and Cambridge Innovation Capital also participated in the round. Vaysh Kewada (CEO) and Johannes Feldmann (CTO) are the co-founders of the company. The company is developing an ultra-high-speed multi-chip processor that incorporates a photonics chip as well as standard electronics. The firm's technology can stack up to 64 vectors into a light beam.
Salience Labs employs a multi-chip design, with photonic processing mapped on top of Static Random-Access Memory (SRAM). The company plans to utilize the September 2025 funding to grow its AI operations and develop technologies that improve global digital infrastructure.
