Based in Beijing, China and founded in 2019, White Rhino Zhida (Beijing) Technology Co. , Ltd. , dba Rino. ai, is autonomous driving technology specializing in developing unmanned vehicles and integrated solutions for urban logistics.
The company was established by Lei Zhu and Tian Xia, two former members of Baidu's autonomous driving team. Its core R&D team members mainly graduated from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other universities and research institutions. In April 2026, Rino. ai and Shineray Autos jointly established a joint venture operating as a RoboVan OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
In May 2026, Rino. ai closed a round of series C1 funding from Nanshan SEI Investment, Oriza Holdings, and other investors. Rino. ai offers unmanned logistics vehicles empowered by AI (Artificial Intelligence) with L4 autonomous driving (able to operate fully without human intervention) capability.
The products can be used for supermarket fresh food terminal delivery, express delivery point connection, cold chain transportation, and other scenarios. The company generates revenue by providing unmanned delivery vehicles with L4 autonomous driving capabilities.
