Founded in 2014 by Dominic Heyden and CEO Manuel Heyden, and headquartered in Cologne, Germany, nextmarkets Trading Ltd is a fintech company dedicated to helping private individuals be more successful in the stock markets. The company offers stock market advice through an app available on iOS, Android, and web apps from over 22 trading coaches with over 300 real-time trading ideas per month in real-time. The app supports English and German among up to seven different languages. nextmarkets staffs 39 designers, coders, thinkers, bankers, traders, marketers, and entrepreneurs across offices in Malta and Lisbon. In March 2021, nextmarkets AG raised Series B funding of USD 30 million and is backed by venture capitalists Founders Fund, Axel Springer, and Falk Strascheg among others.  The company provides a platform to trade shares and ETFs thereby allowing users to open an account and deposit funds enabling trading on the gettex trading platform operated by the Munich Stock Exchange segment in more than 7,000 shares from 52 countries as well as in over 1,000 ETFs. The customer's money is safeguarded with the Deutsche Handelsbank and Barclays. nextmarkets allows limit, stop, and market order. The company offers a trade for more than 8000 shares, ETFs, and other products, at no charge for order fees, custody account management fees, or flat-rate third-party fees. nextmarkets AG plans on utilizing the funding to further develop the platform and accelerate European expansion
