Based in Australia and founded in 2011, Micro-X Ltd. is an x-ray imaging system for medical and security applications. Micro-X Ltd. was founded in Victoria, Australia by Managing Director, Mr. Peter Rowland. And Mr. Richard Hannebery who joins the Micro-X Board of Directors as Executive Director, Corporate Development. In December 2015, Micro-X Ltd. relocated to South Australia and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange as MX1 with a AUD 20 million IPO led by Lodge Partners. In 2017, Micro-X Ltd. launched its flagship lightweight x-ray, the Nano. Micro-X Ltd. designs, develops, and manufactures a range of innovative, ultra-lightweight, mobile x-ray imaging systems using cold cathode x-ray sources for medical and security imaging products. The company's products include Nano; Rover and Mobile Backscatter Imager (MBI), Mobile Baggage Scanner (MBS), and others. Micro-X Ltd. plans to expands its US footprint and fast-track new lightweight x-ray products.
