Based in Brazil, and founded in 2020 by Manuel Cardoso, Map Intelligence Inovacao In Educational Technology and Assistive LTDA, a.k.a. Map Intelligence focuses on industrial automation and artificial intelligence to develop technologies to automate the industry and improve the efficiency of employees and machinery in production lines. In October 2022, Map Intelligence raised BRL 4 million in venture funding from new investor Bertha Capital. The company provides a virtual assistant that enables clients to monitor real-time production indicators, as well as notify operators about best practices and behaviors to be avoided to reduce the margin of errors and waste. Map Intelligence also offers other products, such as an industry data warehouse, a customized configuration of surface-mounted devices and the introduction of an injet system that transforms production data into useful knowledge to increase productivity. Map Intelligence plans to use its proceeds from October 2022 funding to improve its commercial and sales structure.
