Based in Les Alluets-le-Roi, France, and founded in 2008 by Ludovic Vérité and Jean Hirtz, Hardouin-Loc SAS, doing business as VAC, is a temporary buildings supplier. The company provides its services throughout France and expanded its offerings in the provinces with the creation of two agencies in Nantes and Toulouse. In February 2021, Ouest Croissance and Trocadero Capital Partners have acquired a minority stake in the company which took place on the occasion of the retirement of one of the co-founder, Jean Hirtz. Hardouin-Loc SAS provides rental services of autonomous mobile life bases and supplies associated services, mainly for the construction industry. The company installs and delivers its life bases on time at the location of the clients' choice. VAC handles inventory and replenishes consumables every morning. Toilets are cleaned and emptied by the team as often as the clients need them, at least once a week. Additionally, protocols are implemented for COVID disinfection at the request of the customers on construction sites and systematized during end-of-rental returns. Various VAC mobile bases include units with shower, without shower, dismountable, with office space, and units for sanitary purposes. Moreover, all units are equipped with solar panels, LED lighting, timed switches, which contribute to limiting greenhouse gases. Hardouin-Loc SAS generates revenues by offering price quotations tailored to the clients' needs.
