In January 2024, Amer Sports Corporation raised USD 1.37 billion in an IPO, selling 105 million shares at USD 13 per share, below the expected USD 16–18 range, on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol AS. The listing valued the company at approximately $6.3 billion. Amer Sports Corporation has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15.75 million shares of common stock as part of the listing. ANTA Sports Products Limited, FountainVest Partners, Anamered Investments Inc., and Tencent Holdings Limited retained minority stakes in the company. The transaction valued the company at USD 6.3 billion. The company offers sports equipment, apparel, footwear, and accessories that cover a wide range of sports, including tennis, badminton, golf, American football, soccer, baseball, basketball, alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, fitness training, cycling, running, hiking, and diving. The firm's brands include Salomon, Arc’teryx, Peak Performance, Atomic, Mavic, Suunto, Wilson, and Precor. Amer Sports sells its products directly to consumers through branded stores, factory outlets, e-commerce, and trade customers in sporting goods chains, specialty retailers, mass merchants, fitness clubs, and distributors.
