Florida UBC Health Fund — overview

About

Florida UBC Health Fund (“the Fund”) was a multi-employer benefit plan established through Collective Bargaining Agreements between contributing employers and the Florida Carpenters Regional Council. The Fund provided health and welfare benefits-including major medical, dental, prescription drug, and accidental death and dismemberment coverage-to eligible participants, dependents, and retirees. Florida Carpenters Regional Council (FLCRC) is the statewide organization representing union carpenters, millwrights, and pile drivers across Florida. As an affiliate of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, FLCRC delivers a skilled workforce, enforces high standards of safety and productivity, and supports member advancement through recruitment, training, and comprehensive benefits. Effective June 30, 2024, Florida UBC Health Fund merged into the Southern District UBC Health Trust.
