Based in Paderborn, Germany, and founded in 1977, the global provider of low-sound generators, formerly known as Icemaster GmbH, was renamed Fischer Panda GmbH in 2007. An additional factory equipped with modern production equipment was built in Poland in 1992 to keep production costs low. And in 2004, a major expansion in Paderborn, Germany begins. The company operates under 130 employees has over 500 technicians and dealers in more than 80 countries around the world.
In 2021, the company was acquired by Süd Beteiligungen GmbH. The qualified tradesmen, engineers, and technicians are working to manufacture mobile power generators, hybrid and electric drive systems for yachts, boats, and special vehicles. The company offers customers the choice between a full battery system for pure electrical driving or a generator-assisted drive system and an on-board power supply. Fischer Panda GmbH also offers an underwater Aziprop POD engine or a shaft motor which is installed inside a boot supported by EasyBox.
The company's revenue generated in 2020 was EUR 34 million by providing complete mobile energy supply systems in boats and vehicles.
