V. , is a nautical safety and navigation equipment company providing nautical solutions and services such as life-saving equipment and repair services for the maritime industry worldwide. It operates from two ports in Delfzijl and Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The company mainly provides nautical equipment ranging from safety, navigation and firefighting equipment to detection, medical equipment and nautical inventory. Some examples of their product are lifeboats, ladders, first aid kits and fire extinguishers. Furthermore, the company also offers data and chart management systems, as well as nautical services such as the Low location Lighting System(LLL), equipment repair and inspection. ENCTrack is one of their chart management solutions which can perform real-time vessel tracking, and charges only when the service is being used.

Besides that, the company also provides nautical digitisation services to the maritime sector. Datema’s revenue is primarily generated by providing the maritime industry with nautical equipment and services not only nationally but also on an international scale. One of their clients is Allseas, whose construction vessel is the largest in the world, equipped with Datema’s ENCTrack solution which is also known as ‘Pay As You Sail’. Another client that incorporated this system is Holland America Line.
